COVID-19 Update: Phase 2 Re-Opening

As of June 12, we are open to offering modified services.
To our Village Spa clients,
We hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and happy. Having to close our doors was hard for all of us, and we thank you for your support and patience during this challenging time.
We are excited to get back in the Spa and eager to see you again! We will look the same but have altered some of our regular practises and experiences to coincide with provincial and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health regulations for the comfort and safety of our clients and staff. As restrictions are eased, we hope to expand on our initial services from phase one of re-opening. The service offerings that are now available for booking are based on local and provincial guidelines and may be subject to change. We recommend following our Facebook and Instagram pages for the most up-to-date information regarding our offerings.
Phase 1 Re-Opening Measures:
Services that tend to a client's face are prohibited for the time being (facials, waxing, eyelashes, and head massages - our booking platform is up-to-date to reflect)
One client max in the Spa at all times
Our washroom will be closed for the time being
Credit, Debit, and Gift Card payment only; no cash transactions
Cleaning and Prevention:
All staff, clients and visitors are required to wear a mask; no mask, no service. (Failing to do so will result in a mandatory $5k fine for the Village Spa Elora).
Spa staff will be equipped with appropriate PPE during services, including acrylic shields and the wearing of antimicrobial scrubs with an apron.
There will be frequent sterilizing and disinfecting of all high touch areas (using PREempt solution products).
As always, were are disinfecting and sterilizing tools in between appointments (using PREempt solution products).
A sanitizing station will be available at the entrance of the Spa for clients to sanitize before entering.
Social distancing and hand-washing reminder signs will be posted in key areas.
The debit terminal will be sanitized between uses.

As per Wellington Public Health recommendations, only 1 client in the pedicure and manicure area to ensure safety (unless clients are from the same household - please specify upon booking).
We kindly ask that clients wait in their cars until the exact appointment time as the main entrance will be locked.
A sanitization station is available at the main entrance for clients to sanitize before entering the building.
As always, we will continue to use single-use disposable items where possible - any tools and treatment rooms are one per customer.
Expect a longer appointment time (this allows us to properly clean and sanitize areas after each appointment).
No walk-ins available
If you have been feeling unwell, or show COVID-19 symptoms, please cancel your appointment and self isolate/self-monitor for 14-days.
We continue to monitor the situation closely, and you will be the first to know when full-service offerings are available. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause around current reservations or for those who were planning to use our services, and we are taking steps to mitigate these impacts:
All reservations scheduled during COVID have been cancelled and are rebooked (following Phase 1 Measures) - if you haven’t been contacted at this point, please reach out.
Gift cards do not expire - you can use them for purchase products or for future visits. Gift cards are also available for purchase online.
We would like to personally thank each one of you for being a part of the Village Spa family. We encourage you each to do your part to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 outbreak - stay updated, wash your hands, practise social distancing, refrain from travelling, be self-aware, meditate, and stay positive.
